Miele commissioned the RenderThat team with the project goal of bringing existing product photo material up to date through a hybrid solution of “real” product photos and modern 3D product visualization (via CGI). The effort required to re-photograph all scenarios in the conventional way would have been too enormous. With the hybrid solution from RenderThat, not only could the product changes be easily inserted, but the various language variants (e.g. labels of the washing programs) could also be updated for all sales markets.
