The definition of a render farm
The term render farm is a combination of the words “rendering” and “farm.” In 3D visualization, you may need a render farm made of external hardware as a supporting, external resource to load files for rendering independently of the actual working computers. The aim is to release the computing process of rendering (= a three-dimensional scene is brought into a fixed format as the end result) from the work computer. In this way, it can continue to be used and, thanks to the more powerful, external hardware, to reduce rendering time and be able to render several images at the same time.
