Case study: Big at the HYDRO Systems trade fair even before the prototype

Objective: Impress at the leading trade fair — even without prototypes
For HYDRO Systems GmbH & Co. KG, the main goal was to present the new MLGTMULT-2 product — an engine change trolley for wide-body aircraft — at the MRO Europe trade fair in Barcelona.
The trolley can be used to remove and install the main landing gears of large Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
Since the device was still in production, a photorealistic 3D visualization on a large exhibition wall should attract attention. The aim was to show the product in use in order to present it in the best possible way at the leading European trade fair for the aviation industry. And make an impression on customers.
In addition, there was an ambitious schedule of three weeks until delivery.
challenge
The biggest challenge in this project was the technical precision of the presentation. Since only CAD models were available, it was crucial to make textures and details as realistic as possible. Not least for the metre-high pressure of visualization, which also makes details easy to see.
In addition, the trolley for main chassis should also be presented in a correspondingly realistic environment. The hangar and aircraft were also suitably visualized for this purpose.
RenderThat worked closely with HYDRO's marketing and product management team to coordinate details and ensure that the presentation met the exact requirements. Strict time management was essential in view of the trade fair date.

The graphics and the digital twin not only attracted attention, but also served as an ideal tool to explain the new product and clearly present the benefits. And thus achieve the main goal: to generate interest and understanding for the new product.
