Case study: How we digitize over 1000 bathroom products for Duravit and visualize them x-fold

Goal: thousands of product images — flexible and scalable

The aim of our long-standing collaboration with Duravit is to create high-quality and versatile product visualizations. The focus is on digitizing Duravit's extensive product portfolio — with the creation of digital twins for countless bathroom products.

These digital twins make it possible to create any product content. For Duravit, RenderThat in particular creates cutouts and milieu images that can be used flexibly in a wide variety of formats and perspectives.

The images generated are used both for online (website, social) and print (price lists, brochures).

challenge

The requirements for the various content formats must be met: On the one hand, the approvers must always be perfectly coordinated with Duravit's corporate identity in isometric, frontal and top-down presentation. On the other hand, the implementation of milieu images requires more creativity in order to create inspiring and authentic environments. This balance between precision and creative freedom, combined with the scaling of large amounts of data, is what makes the project so special.

When working with Duravit, renderThat relies on a proven and scalable content pipeline. Our central software solution enables an efficient and transparent workflow in which all processes — from the feedback loop to quality control — are digitally controlled.

To date, RenderThat has created around 1500 digital twins for Duravit and used them to produce over 4000 product images, which are used for product catalogues, price lists, online shops and marketing campaigns.
